Large Papaya

Papayas grow in tropical climates and are also known as paw paws. Their sweet taste, vibrant colour, and the wide variety of health benefits make them a popular fruit.  Previously an exotic and rare delicacy, Papaya is now available all year round.

The possible health benefits of consuming papaya include a reduced risk of heart diseases thanks to the fruit's fibre and potassium content. Papaya also contains the antioxidant beta-carotene which may reduce the risk of cancer.

Papaya is excellent enjoyed as they are but can be added to salads, smoothies, and other dishes.

Please note this fruit will always be sent out unripe so it doesn't damage during transit.
